                                        CHURCH MINISTRIES

PASTOR'S AID MINISTRY
This ministry provides assistance to the Pastor in carrying out his pastoral  responsibilities and assistance during church services.

YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY
This ministry explores God's word in dept to help make sense of the daily challenges facing singles, couples and young families today.  They meet on every Wednesday at 7:00 PM.

USHER'S MINISTRY
This ministry serves as doorkeepers and examples of our open hospitality every Sunday.  They participate in all programs and on other occasions as requested.  Ushers bring cheers to shut-ins by sending flowers and cards to members who are hospital patients.  Meetings are scheduled every fourth Saturday at 9:30 AM.

HAYDEN YOUTH CHOIR
This choir ministers to the saved and unsaved through song and dances of praise.  Youth, ages 4-14 are encouraged to actively participate.  This choir renders music every second and fourth Sunday.  Rehearsals take palce at 10 AM on every second and fourth Saturday.

HAYDEN SENIOR CHOIR
The choir performs on every Sunday.  Membership is open to anyone who likes to sing regardless of age.  Rehearsals are held at 7:00 PM on Tuesdays.

HAYDEN SENIOR AUXILIARY
This auxiliary spent time socializing with others, visiting the sick.  Discuss the noon time Bible School. Membership is open anyone who are a senior citizen.

HAYDEN WOMEN'S AUXILIARY
This ministry works effectively to involve all women in the work of the church.  It provides outings, workshops (e.g., health and wellness, education), Women's Day Programs, and fundraisers.  The auxiliary is affiliated with the Cedar Branch Association (CBA).

HAYDEN GOSPEL CHOIR
The mission of this ministry is to uplift the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, through musical gifts and talents.  Membership is open to anyone who desires to worship Christ through songs.  Rehearsals are held at 7:00 PM on every other Thursday.

HAYDEN MALE CHORUS
This men's choir sings every first Sunday and on other occasions as requested.  Membership is open to any male who likes to sing.  Rehearsals are held at 7:00 PM on every other Thursday.

TRUSTEES AUXILIARY
This auxiliary makes sure the physical plant of the church operates comfortably and remains in compliance with municipal standards.  Trustees voluntarily maintain necessary church supplies, cleaning, insurance, transportation, security, and all other operations, upkeep, improvement, and financial business of the church.  Membership is based on recommendations by the governing board and formal approval by the church membership.

DEACONESS MINISTRY
The women of this auxiliary assist the Pastor and Deacons with the preparation and execution of the communion ordinance.  The group also fellowships with other surrounding churches through activities such as their annual Rainbow Tea and Prayer Breakfasts.  Membership is by nomination and approval of the church body.

THE BROTHERHOOD MINISTRY
This auxiliary is affiliated with the Cedar Branch Association (CBA), the education association to which Hayden Baptist belongs.  The Brotherhood has undertaken education-related projects such as the construction of an education facility for the Hayden Community.  Since 2008 the Neville K. Burris Golf Tournament has been a major project of the Brotherhood that has contributed to this effort.  Membership in the Brotherhood is open to all men, young and old.

EDUCATIONAL ENRICHMENT COMMITTEE
This group coordinates annual educational programs that provide financial support for the college-attending youth of the church.  It also conducts celebrations to recognize the academic, athletic, and other achievements  of all young people in the church.  Parents are encouraged to make known the accomplishments of their children by contacting the Education Committee.   Membership is open to anyone who desires to encourage the youth to be all that God intended for them to be.

Maintenance the sound system, video system,and music for the church.

Members of this department voluntarily give of their time and talents to maintain an effectively functioning sound system, video system, and musical equipment for the church.
